Design a website based on an invoice.

We were commissioned to develop a website using an invoice design as the basis.

The site had to look exactly like the invoice, but be responsive.

The main elements that needed to appear on the website are:

• Wall drawing on the side
• Door drawing somewhere in the wall
• System ceiling drawing

These elements are therefore also reflected on the website.

Responsive challenges.

Because the wall has to fill the entire page, this presents a challenge on variable screen sizes.

We ultimately solved it with several overlapping layers.

The same applies to the background (system ceiling).

We created different background images: a long one for phones and a wide one for desktops. By using separate backgrounds we can preserve the site’s performance.
